The lotus flower plays a large role in the practice of yoga
and meditation. When we meditate, we are
attentive and heedful of that precise moment.
Have you ever tried meditation? It doesn’t have to be a lengthy practice
where you sit in a cross-legged position for an hour chanting your Ohm.
Meditation can be as simple as calming your mind for a few
minutes while the hustle and bustle of your workday continues around you.
Meditation can be appreciating the beauty of a flower,
pondering the mystery of its beginning from a small seed into a many-petaled
vision of loveliness.
Meditation is just being heedful
of where you are right now.
Today, live your life like a lotus flower. . .Mindfully!
