As you probably know, homing pigeons have been used for many years to transport messages from one place to another. I wonder who ever thought of this marvelous idea to use the birds’ natural tendency of returning “home” as a way to communicate between people. This, of course, was many, many years ago. . .before the internet. . .before the telephone. . .before the Pony Express. . .before the telegraph. . .before Morse Code. Without history, we would have no idea how far we’ve come!
In order to provide the instantaneous communication that so many of us expect nowadays, many people had to be capable of being trusted or depended on, reliable, and marked by good judgment.
Without the responsible hard work of many, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Are you being as responsible as those who have proven their dependability in the past? Can you be trusted? Are you reliable?
Today, plan to do better than you may have done yesterday, and live your life like homing pigeons. . .responsibly!
