Isn’t the camellia in today’s photo just gorgeous?!? It is a camellia japonica, one of the most ravishing and alluring flowers in Mother Nature’s boutique.
Beauty is truly within the eye of the beholder. Someone once told me she thought cedar trees were so ugly. I was shocked. I never thought of a tree being ugly. I just figured a tree is a tree.
But I am at fault in judging the beauty of other people. I, too, have succumbed to the falsehood that a beautiful person must look a certain way, dress in a certain fashion, be physically shaped in a certain way.
Truly, everyone. . .regardless of their color, shape, size, sex, countenance. . .is beautiful in their own way.
Today. . .live your life like a camellia. . .ravishingly!
