Living our lives congenially is very similar to yesterday’s concept of living our lives affably. Both words basically mean “getting along with each other.”
Gosh, we sure need help in that area. Whether it’s a schoolyard spat between two young girls playing jump rope together, or an argument between a teenage couple, or disgruntlement at work because the boss is so demanding. . .sometimes we sure have trouble living our lives congenially.
The next time you’re feeling upset about an interaction with someone, take a couple deep breaths and remind yourself that this current argument really doesn’t mean much in the “Big Scheme of Things.”
Today, vow to be of a friendly disposition and sociable as you live your life. . .congenially!
