Today’s photo of a dog expectantly waiting to play ball just gives me a “grin above my chin!”  Doesn’t he look like he’s having great fun. . .in eager anticipation?

This morning, I opened my eyes to another cold, cloudy, gray day in central Ohio.  It’s May 5, for goodness sake!  Where’s the sunshine?  Why is it so cold outside?  I thought it was supposed to be spring!

I am expectantly awaiting the arrival of more pleasant spring weather.  But I’m going to try to follow the lead of the dog in today’s photo.  Rather than being depressed about the weather, I vow to eagerly anticipate. . .with great joy. . .warm sunshine and warm temperatures.  Today, I live my life expectantly!  How about you?
