This is an amazing moment caught by the photographer!  But isn't everything on this earth truly amazing?  

Think of your own human body.  We each have one, but do we know how it works?  Do you really understand what a truly astonishing miracle your own body is?  Do some research and you will be astonished at how marvelously our bodies function!

The sad part is that most of us don’t appreciate our bodies.  We think bad thoughts about our bodies. . .too fat here, too skinny there, too many age spots. . .the litany goes on and on.  Whether or not you believe in reincarnation, the fact is, the human bodies we inhabit right now are the only ones we will have in this lifetime. 

Treasure your body today.  Ponder its amazing marvels.

Does the lamb in today’s photo generate within you feelings of tenderness and affection?  Why is it that babies of most species look so adorable?  Perhaps those feelings of tenderness generated within the observer trigger a reaction to protect the young.

Mothers of most species are genetically programmed to care for their young.  However, fathers, siblings, and other relatives also take on some of the childcare duties.  Consider the Emperor penguin and the amazing efforts the male penguins do to protect precious eggs through harsh winters.

Is there someone in your life for whom you have feelings of tenderness and affection?  If so, express your feelings either verbally or by action.  Let that person know how special he or she is to you!

There are lots of things that can add zest, flavor, and spiciness to your life! 

Do you enjoy going to art fairs?  They can be great fun!  It’s amazing how creative some people are.  There is one artist who creates handbags out of old cigar boxes.  How does someone come up with an idea like that?

You have lots of creatives ideas within yourself that can add flavor, zest, and spiciness to your life!  How about wearing brightly colored clothes today?  Take a different route to work.  Don't pack the same old drab lunch.  Try some Kung Pao chicken today!

What will you do today to add some flavor and zest to your life?

A Comment from Carolyn. . .

Do we really know for sure that the moon is immortal?  Of course not.  We certainly hope it is as immortal as our sun and our earth.  We would not be able to survive without our sun and probably not without our moon either.  Much of science fiction postulates such dire scenarios.

When we say that God is immortal, how can we really know that is true either?  We don’t know that for sure; we can’t know that for sure; we won’t know that for sure until maybe after our death.  Even then, who knows if we’ll really know for sure?

The business of life is all about not knowing things for sure.  All we can do is be the best version of ourselves as we possibly can--for the Goodness of All.  And who knows. . .maybe someday. . .we will truly know that we are Eternal.

Today. . .live your life like the moon. . .Immortally!

The fundamental basis for much of our earth is rock.  If it weren’t for this solid foundation, we might be slopping around in a big pile of ooze!

There are many other things in our world that constitute essential components of our system and are of basic and major significance.  Where would we be without air to breathe, without water to drink, without the many elements of the food chain to sustain us?

Do you take the time every day to give thanks for oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon, and all of the many other elements that make up your body and our world?  Please do so.

This fly looks amazing!  We usually aren't able to see flies with such attention to detail.  They are really marvelous creatures!

If anything is energetic, a fly certainly is!  Flies buzz around us so quickly that they easily escape the frantic swatting of our hands.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have the energy of a fly?
