Doesn't it seem that many plants live their lives effortlessly? All they have to do is just grow.
Try looking at it, though, from a plant’s point of
view. They might not feel that way. Imagine the many struggles they encounter. . .from pushing up through compacted soil. . .to
dealing with the ravages of insects. . .to searching for life-giving sunlight on
cloudy days. Maybe this violet
thorn flower has exerted a lot of physical and mental energy to achieve
its goal of blossoming!
But maybe this flower does not look upon its life as a
struggle. It is simply just being that
which it is. Perhaps we
should take our cue from plants.
You truly don’t need to exert much physical or mental energy to be who you are. Just BE!
