Companionably. . . .I really resonate with this word!
I recently spent an afternoon and evening with my aunt and cousin whom I hadn’t seen in over 40 years. It was a lovely sociable time!
We caught up on happenings in our lives, reminisced about the past, compared stories we were told by our relatives, and even learned a few new things! I truly appreciated and enjoyed the time we had together.
The lichen and tree in today’s photo are very companionable. Without the tree, the lichen would not have a home. It is in the best interests of the lichen to be a worthy companion to the tree.
Isn’t it in all our best interests to be worthy companions of each other? We are all on this earth together. Let’s make the best of our time by living together very companionably!
Thanks for sharing this journey with me. . .
Many Thanks and Smiles. . .Carolyn
