This truly is a beautiful butterfly living its life very decoratively.
Isn’t it interesting how some creatures adorn themselves very ornamentally? I suppose there’s a good reason why this butterfly has such beautiful colors in a decorative pattern. Maybe it evolved this way to blend in with the flowers it visits for their nectar. Perhaps it fools some birds that would normally eat the butterfly into thinking it’s a flower.
Why do some of us (mainly women) feel it’s necessary to adorn ourselves with heavy makeup and designer clothing? Perhaps it’s one way of expressing our individuality, or perhaps we feel insecure and think we need to appear a certain way to gain respect.
I recently had a lovely time with my aunt and niece whom I hadn’t seen in over 40 years. I thought it was so interesting that none of us wore much makeup or fancy clothing!
Do you know that you are beautiful in God’s eyes? That you don’t need to decorate yourself to achieve Her respect? No matter how you look, you are Divinely Loved. Use only your smile today to decorate your face. That’s all you really need to do!
