Meticulously. . .what a magnificent close-up photo of the preciseness of fern leaves. Such meticulous detail!
Did the fern plan set out intentionally to grow its leaves in that most specific pattern? It just did it because that is what a fern plant is and does. It is precisely and meticulously just that!
In many respects, we are precisely who we are supposed to be. Did you consciously decide to grow two arms and two legs? When you were in your mother’s womb, did you intentionally create the small human who would eventually come forth into the outside world? (Well, actually one could argue that the big "YOU" did create the little "you" intentionally and meticulously.)
Think of all the meticulous detail in your body. Think of all the processes that are necessary to maintain your physical life. . .your heartbeat pulsing blood through all your veins and arteries. . .your meticulous nervous system sending electrical signals to every tiny cell so that each knows its purpose. . .your organs ceaselessly performing their individual duties. . .your body is meticulous in detail.
Give thanks for the meticulous body which you inhabit and take good care of it! You deserve it!
