Some people might wonder why I would choose a chicken to represent the concept of living life majestically. To that, I say, why not??
Doesn’t the rooster in today’s photo exhibit stateliness and great dignity? I sure think he does!
Being majestic is not necessarily a function of bodily appearance but rather a mindset. When we feel we are not worthy or deserving because of low self-esteem, our whole posture shows that. We shrug our shoulders, walk lethargically, and rarely smile. These outward appearances reflect our feelings about ourselves.
The other end of the spectrum is that when we feel thrilled to be alive, excited about the next challenge, and confident in our abilities, our bodies exhibit those innermost thoughts, too. We may increase our stride, we may have an exuberant smile, and, yes, we may even show great dignity!
Think about how you wish to live your life. Today, live your life like this stately rooster. . .majestically!
